This kit is intended for use on metal roofs. The kits come complete with a cowl, 60cm long flue (30 gauge galvanised steel), both in a light silver colour, suitable roof flashing and mounting ties. The kit is BAL40 rated, providing added protection against bushfires.

Description
Available in 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 200mm sizes.
BAL40 (Bushfire Attack Level 40) indicates that the cowl can withstand ember attacks, radiant heat up to 40kW/m², and exposure to flames, making it suitable for use in high bushfire risk areas.
About the Cowl:
The unique design of these cowls provides efficient air exhaust expulsion. It also offers superior protection from rain, back drafts and rodents – unlike regular open type roof cowls. The mushroom cowl is aluminium.
The cowl slips over the roof pipe to prevent rain water running down the inside of the pipe.
