The Verandah ceiling fan offers a quality five blade, timeless designed fan with excellent performance. It has the flexibility of installing both indoors and outdoors (undercover), while it is engineered to run quietly and smoothly. This fan comes complete with a three speed wall control as standard however a remote control is available as a separate accessory for easy operation. The Verandah ceiling fan is light adaptable.
If the fan is installed in a covered outdoor area, the fan should be placed at least 1.5m from the edge of the roof or eaves of the enclosure. This will keep the fan away from direct rain, water and sunlight, as well as indirect water splashing which may cause damage to or expedite deterioration of the fan motor and exteriors.
*This fan will hold up rather well in coastal locations far better than most others, however it is not immune and over time may show signs of succumbing to the elements. The Verandah’s motor housing features a rust-resistant finish, a superior powder coating process as well as tightly sealed rubber connection to deter moisture and water from entering and damaging internal parts. The blades are moulded from a weather-resistant polymer to help withstand the elements and which are easy to clean.
