Please Note: Extension rods are used to lower fans installed on higher than average ceilings. Whilst there is no literal definition as to the exact height a fan should sit, the principle is the lower the fan the more you will benefit from its air movement. Description
Without an extension rod, the lowest point of the white FlatJET ceiling fan will sit approximately 300mm below the ceiling. If you have higher than average ceilings, adding this rod will allow you to lower the fan by up to 180cm. An electrician can cut the rod to a shorter length if required.
