This 180cm Brushed Aluminium (DC2469) extension is ONLY compatible with the Hunter Pacific Pinnacle DC Brushed Aluminium model (please check the accessories of the fan you are purchasing the rod for to make sure this rod is suitable). These rods are used to lower the ceiling fan to the required height if installing on higher than standard ceilings. Rods can be cut to size if required by the installer to the desired length.
Please Note: Extension rods are used to lower fans installed on higher than average ceilings. Whilst there is no literal definition as to the exact height a fan should sit, the principle is the lower the fan the more you will benefit from its air movement.
