The Outdoor Elements II offers switch (reversible) blades so you have the flexibility to select a favourable finish to complement your interior whether you want a palm design or wicker look.
*This fan will hold up rather well in coastal locations, however it is not immune and over time may show signs of succumbing to the elements. The Outdoor Elements ceiling fan features a rust proof aluminium construction with stainless steel hardware and UV resistant ABS plastic all-weather blades which help withstand some elemental conditions. It is IP44 rated meaning it is protected from water splashing from all directions and is salt spray tested.
If installation is in a covered outdoor area, the fan should be placed at least 1.5 metres from the edge of the roof or eaves of the enclosure. This will keep the fan away from direct rain, water and sunlight, as well as indirect water splashing which may cause damage to or expedite deterioration of the fan motor and exteriors. If wanting a light for outdoor installations, only the Hunter Outdoor Light Kit is suitable.
