Description
A simple and inexpensive way to stop standard ceiling exhaust fans from letting warm air out or cold air in. The draft stopper fits over fans that are smaller than its diameter of 330mm.
It contains a pair of balanced shutters which open when the fan is turned on and close under their own weight when the fan is turned off. The Draft Stopper aims to reduce energy costs by preventing hot or cold air from entering or escaping the building via the hole in the ceiling for the exhaust fan. It’s an easy and effective application to complete the draught proofing of your home or business.

Quite a good design. Applying an additional bead of sealant across the full diameter, by the installer, would further improve the product for sealability.
